Neuroethics & the Future of Reality 2023

Neuroethics & the Future of Reality 2023, also called NFR 2023, was a Future Realities conference held at Princeton University in New Jersey on June 15, 2023. The event brought together academics, technologists, entrepreneurs, designers, and ethics experts to examine how virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, neuroscience, brain-computer interfaces, biometric data, and immersive media may reshape human perception, identity, agency, and society. NFR 2023 focused on three linked questions: what counts as real, how emerging technologies will change reality, and what ethical responsibilities follow from those changes.
